Trevor began his journey at Gunderson Dettmer as an Office Services Assistant in July 2017 and quickly promoted twice within 1.5 years and became a core paralegal for their San Diego office focusing on ECVC. In 2021, he joined Cooley, Vault’s #1 voted Best Law Firm for ECVC, and made a name for himself becoming one of the most requested paralegals by attorneys to join their client teams. He did everything under the ECVC umbrella from formations, managing capitalization tables, blue-sky research and compliances, financings, and navigating acquisitions. Although he was hired in the San Diego office, he provided invaluable support to other ECVC client teams in other Cooley offices such as Chicago, Colorado, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, and Beijing.

In March 2025, he decided to take his knowledge of emerging companies and bring it to an emerging growth law firm like Ashbury, which was recently ranked #1 in California’s leading small to mid-size firms in the Fintech sphere.
